Educational & Language Qualifications

  • Academic Degree: Must hold any Bachelor's degree from a recognized university under the 10+2+3 pattern. Final year students can apply provisionally for Prelims but must produce graduation proof before Mains admission.
  • Tamil Language Proficiency: Mandatory. Candidates must have studied Tamil as a subject in SSLC/HSC or be prepared to pass a mandatory language qualification exam.
  • Post-Specific Preferences: B.Com & B.L. degree holders are preferred for Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes). Post Graduate degrees/diplomas in Sociology or Rural Development give preference for Assistant Director.

Physical Standards (only for DSP and Fire Services)

Stage III: Oral Test / Interview (Personality Assessment)
